Commit to the Training
1500 Hours (or 43 Weeks) of Academy training. Its both experiential training and theory.
Yes, you will learn all the fundamentals of hairstyling plus much much more. You’ll be exposed to a variety of trainers, speakers, qualified instructors and network with industry representatives.
Next step is to complete a 1,500 hour apprenticeship. If you qualify, you will be selected to work in one of our award winning salons. How long will the complete certification course take? In total, you can aim to get your Diploma in 10.5 months!
Take your Government Exam
You will be ready to do your government exam to earn your official hairdressing licence. Work towards becoming a master in your field!
Do I Qualify?
If you have a Ontario Secondary school Diploma or equivalent or mature student ( at least 18 years of age, you qualify. But hurry, set your intention now, because the seats do fill up every semester.
After reviewing your application, selected candidates will be required to attend an interview.
A non- refundable deposit of $150.00 must be submitted upon registration. This deposit is deducted from your tuition cost should you be accepted.
The fine print: Admission Requirements – Section 19 of Regulation 415/06 specifics the minimum admission requirements for private career college programs: An Ontario Secondary school Diploma or equivalent or mature student ( at least 18 years of age ).
What is the dress code for the Academy?
All trainees are required to dress in black professional attire.
